BREPOliS-Vetus Latina Database

Vetus Latina Database – a database of quotations contained in translations of parts of the Bible, which date from the second century AD until the time when the so-called Vulgate was generally accepted. The resource contains quotations from books, chapters or versions of the Bible. It follows on from the work of Abbot Josef Denko, who in the nineteenth century compiled a collection of these quotations, which already numbered hundreds of thousands of records, stored in Hl. Bonifatius Abtei von Beuron (BRD).
This electronic version also includes an overview of the repertory H.J. Frede: Kirchenschrif¬tsteller. Verzeichnis und Sigel, Freiburg, 1995 and its update by R. Gryson.
